Mission Viejo is a great town and I have the privilege of performing notaries there every week. I live only 5 minutes from Mission Viejo, so it’s a convenient location for me to service that area. I recently learned that there are 471 registered notaries in Mission Viejo. My daughter goes to Mission Viejo High School, a school know for their academic, sports, arts and music programs. While the football team, The Diablo Inferno, has played a significant role in enhancing the school’s reputation, my daughter is more inclined towards volleyball.
One of the more interesting notarizations I’ve done in Mission Viejo was for the owners of Royal Donuts and Burger, located at the corner of Marguerite and Jeronimo Rd. They were buying a home in the area. I remember lots of kids and excitement around their new purchase and business. We spent over an hour together, going through about 150 pages of closing documents, with about 10 notarizations. The owners, genuine and hardworking individuals committed to family values, also happen to make the best donuts in town. As a sweet bonus, they generously gifted me a bag of their delectable creations, which I happily devoured.
Since we’re on the topic of food, my other daughter works at Beach Hut Deli in Mission Viejo, when she visits from UC Riverside. She’s worked there on and off for about 3 years. They make amazing sandwiches and I’ve done signings there too (where have I not done signings?). My personal favorite is the Spicolli, though it’s important to note that most sandwiches come with cream cheese—simply let them know if you prefer otherwise!
